Brotman Medical Center

When Dennis Potter and his friend, Kevin, and left the Mausoleum at Hillside Memorial Park (see Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary for a description of their day leading up to this point), Dennis asked Kevin if he wouldn't mind stopping one last time at the front desk. On a hunch, Dennis asked if "David M. Brotman" was interred at their facility. David M. Brotman, medical director of the Culver City Hospital at the time of Jeff Chandler's admittance and death, stated at least once that the Culver City Hospital "is not trying to hide anything." Mr. Brotman tried to make everyone understand that he and the hospital had absolutely nothing to hide; when Mr. Brotman died in the mid-1970s, he was interred in the "Garden of Truth" at Hillside Memorial Park, a short distance away from the Mausoleum.

On their way home from Hillside Memorial Park, Dennis and Kevin stopped at the Culver City Hospital, now known as the "Brotman Medical Center." They breezed by the security desk, passed the empty wall where the Board of Directors plaques should have been, noticed a framed letter signed by a "Dr. Frankenstein," and soon found that almost every other bulletin board along the vast corridors in that institution announced the death of yet another hospital employee.
